Dr. Kissane graduated Cum Laude from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders. A Master of Science degree followed this with distinction from CSUN Communicative Disorders, emphasizing Audiology.
Dr. Kissane completed an internship with the Veterans Administration, Outpatient Facility, in Los Angeles. She externed at the John Tracy Clinic in Los Angeles and completed a 6-month traineeship at the House Ear Institute in Los Angeles. After completing her traineeship, she was accepted to do her Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with the House Ear Institute.
She was then subsequently hired by the House Ear Institute and worked there for several years.
Dr. Kissane decided to further her education and in 2006 graduated from AT Still University of Health Sciences with a Doctor of Audiology degree.
She has worked for numerous clinics and private practices and has been with Dr. Birns and Dr. Strocker at Southern California Pediatric ENT Associates since June of 2006.
